Tinkuy Buffet Restaurant at Sanctuary Lodge

That's a lunch buffet. it is absolutely full of tourist. the lunch is really fast. there were children everywhere who ride together. it was chaotic. for this buffet we paid a good amount. there are restrooms before place, but are not clean. there is a lot of dinning options. brot, rice, grilled vegetables, fish, huh, dessert, juices.

We went as a package with our tour so expected a fairly standard buffet and fill us. To be fair, a lot of eating was actually quite nice. usual problem with buffets but, do not eat hot enough. the woman went with food poisoning. down this evening and eaten nothing else. it seems to be a recurring thema on these reviews. coffee was also tepid and quite terrible despite claimed 85 degrees temperature on outside the pot. Finally, when it says that softdrinks contain does not include water, although cheaper on the menu as coks that is included. recommend you hike over the way to the fast food caffe that has a living community feeling.

The service was good, eating was average. this is more just a favorable situation on the foot of the machu picchu. if I had done it again, I would go to lunch in agua calientes. there are many possibilities with amazing prospects, from. do not make the same mistake I made by reading in this is the only restaurant in machu picchu it is the only restaurant up there, but after their tour through machu picchu they still have to go to agua calientes.

Arrived early so was first for the buffet when opened at 1100 so no queues. Did get busier by the time we left just before 1200. Food was lovely and well presented . Soft drinks included . Did not try coffee. Toilets very clean ....Price is $40 which seems expensive by Peruvian standards but you pay for the location.

Delicious food, came here after our hike to the Inca Trail, service was good and food was delicious.
