Bidrage med feedbackWent here a few weeks ago to try out their breakfast! Spoke with a young girl at the counter l, she told us to take a seat but I would be a LONG time before we would be served!! We got the hint and left!! Terrible place, would not recommend to anyone!
Attended a friends 30th at decadent and enjoyed every minute of it. All of the dishes were of a large variety and great quality- lamb cutlets, chicken schnitzel, calamari, assorted salads and garlic bread very tasty and plentiful. Staff were friendly and polite, going out of their way to make sure we were well looked after. A lovely peaceful place hidden away, the room was decorated beautifully and surprisingly spacious inside. Food, atmosphere, decor- this place ticks all the boxes. Will be booking this place for my next party.
It's hard to write a nice thing about this place. We are not fussy people, but there are some basics, that restaurant should abide by. Don't touch the food and don't run out of food and alcohol. In fact you shouldn't run out of anything. This place would have to be the worst restaurant in camberra. I'm not going to elaborate as I don't think they'll be open for much longer. Don't waste your time, or money.
Attended an evening Christmas Party at this restaurant, and I should have known when I walked in and saw no patrons, that this was not going to be as good as I'd been led to believe. This was a Saturday night so very unusual in Canberra. A banquet was ordered and the food took quite some time to start arriving. Each dish was delivered on it's own until the last one which had cold white rice with it. There were long gaps between each delivery and one concern was that the waiter had long fall which kept falling forward and could have contaminated the food. There was not enough food, but having said that, the quality was so poor that one wouldn't really want anymore of it. One of the group ate nothing, another left everything she tried, one couldn't eat the prawns, and the ?owner insisted on cooking some chicken instead. The pieces of chicken were sitting in a gluggy, tasteless sauce and the thicker pieces were not completely cooked in the middle. In fact, most of the dishes seemed to have been frozen bulk foods, such as chicken schnitzels deep fried , chips, fish sticks etc. Few sauces were produced, and those that were, were unpleasant. The only fresh food was the small bowls of salad, and even some of those had limp, marked lettuce. All in all, a waste of money although the customer who ate nothing, and the one who left nearly all, were not charged. . As for the decor, not so Christmassy, but at least the staff were pleasant and obliging.
Four adults visited for a weekend lunch. The venue does indeed look decadent and it looks like the owners have spent quite a bit on making sure the place looks good. The food was tasty and moderately priced. The menu has an all day breakfast, lunch options and dinner options and best classified as modern Australian. The service was very good, friendly and attentive. We are considering going back for dinner in the near future.
