The service was warm and friendly, and the restaurant had charming red picnic tables. Located near a beautiful stone bridge and an intriguing antique shop, it's the perfect place to take a break while exploring the village.
The service at this restaurant is unfriendly and slow, and the prices are too high. I paid $6.00 for a milkshake that was just ice cream in a cup. My friend was falsely accused of not paying because one of the employees forgot, which led to a confrontation. The staff needs better training to improve efficiency. The restaurant also has a strange smell every time I visit. This was my last time dining there, and I do not recommend it. It's unfortunate that this is the only dining option in the village.
The Greek salad is fantastic, we adore the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant. The fish and chips were delicious, and the portions were generous.
I've never had a bad meal. Appropriately expensive. Always ready to submit special requests, such as all toppings.
Went in for ice cream, was served a lot of sass. The place is a shadow of its former self. New owners have let quality and service slide. Manager called me out for using a garbage can outside in the parking lot. Garbage should be put in a can inside. Didn't have a garbage bag in the can. She was too busy having a smoke break to tend to the trash situation. The ice cream is low quality. It claims to be serving product from Reid's Dairy in Belleville. Unlikely. It had ice crystals in it, a sign of a cheap product with no cream. The servings are not generous and the prices are high. $3 for two scoops. You're much better off going to a grocery store, and buying a tub of ice cream.
