Bidrage med feedbackIt's a shabby little place with seriously underwhelming food. Folks were certainly nice enough but it's not what I'm looking for for breakfast/brunch. If you want simple fare for a relatively cheap price, go ahead. But I think there are better options afew miles away.
Was one of my favorite places to go when up near the mountains. The staff was kind to us yet I didn?t want breakfast so I waited for lunch. I sat for almost an hour for lunch buffet to come out and it was supposed to come out at 11. But due to all theorders the staff wasn?t able to get the lunch buffet out on time. Lunch buffet used to be cheaper it?s now $18 a person and itmade sense no one wanted the buffet and rather order off the menu something for $8 $9 each. The food is good don?t get me wrongbut if you want the buffet come little after 11 and the buffet will be ready. With rising costs I get the prices. Just littledisappointed at this visit. And reading some of the reviews I am alittle taken back at the responses from the experience. Takeit as a way to better things not everyone is trying to hurt a business.
I enjoyed the veggie burgers and vegetarian chili. The homemade chips were also good. Had a nice little salad too. Overall went hungry and came satisfied.
I had the baked potato with the vegetarian chili and chopped onions. It was good because after hiking I starved 14 miles of the Appalachian Trail this day, but definitely no filling meal. The salad bar did not look worth the cost (for vegan options). The menu says her Veggie Burger is the original Gardenburger, so it's not vegan. The veggie steak is served with cottage cheese or Koleslaw, so I 'd asume that it's not vegan. I thought the vegetarian chili would be safe for vegans, but I didn't ask the server to confirm. Also this place serves veal that I thought was one of the elements that made a restaurant unreliable for Happy Cow.
The food was super delicious and the people who worked there were even better than the food. I was there twice on two days and I'll go again. Fish on Friday and a steak sandwich next day BAM!!!!! K-Town thank you
