Pizza D.O.C. - Lugano

Pizza doc has the best burgers and selection in Lugano. Prices are also amazing for the size and quality of food. Find them on Takeaway.com as they provide for practically nothing. Pizza Doc is also environmentally conscious as they use biodegradable packaging.

I found this jewel in Lugano when I traveled through Switzerland and what a surprise... Everything is so expensive in this country, but this pizza place had a great price and even better value! All staff are very friendly and friendly, they will... speak in Italian, English, Portuguese and I don't know what other language! Don't worry about language barriers if you don't speak the native language of the city. I recomend this place when you decide to go to Lugano.

Pizza D.O.C is a good place to pick up. It has sandwiches, pizzas and salads to take away. The sandwiches are huge and usually good with fresh Focaccia bread. The salads are really simple and fresh and surprisingly cost-effective. I usually get insalata mista or insalata...con pollo both are really good and pretty good portions. I would not recommend the pizza in this place, it is not unusable, but sometimes it has a very plastic taste and the vegetables taste as if they come from a can. However, the staff is friendly and the location is good as it is right next to the university.

Pizza D.O.C is one of my favorite places in Lugano. I always had a great experience with my lunch sandwich (Focaccia of them. The guys working on this pizza place are always friendly and helpful. If you want to chat – you can always come and have a nice conversation there. You have a wide selection of focaccias and pizzas. The reason I'm here is to get the best focccia in town. My personal choice and recommendation for other people: Focaccia with Speck and Brie, Focaccia with turkey or Focaccia with Prosciutto crudo. The average price for the order is 8 CHF plus you will receive soft drinks (Rivella, Coke, Fanta, etc. for extra 2-3 CHF. I personally did not have the greatest experience with Pizza D.O.C. Once I ordered pizza with the mushrooms and it contained no fresh products. It was a little disappointment. On the other day I ordered Hawaii pizza with pine apple and it was just delicious. In my case, the selection of pizzas was 50/50%. Focaccia sandwiches were instead always cooked nicely and simply super. If you have 5 minutes to get your food – this is the place to come!
