Taco Bell - Lufkin

This is a new Taco Bell so I don't think the reviews older than a year can apply. It's located at 1102 South Timberland, next door to Popeyes and across from Kiwanis park. The food is very fresh and tasty. I normally have a big burrito, Gordito taco, or just a few regular beef tacos. Has been oh so good every time I've had it. Kirsten who works the drive-through is always so friendly! I think she's got the whole menu memorized with all its variations. I'll have to post photos next time I go by. I ate everything before thinking about a review! Tell Kirsten hello if you go by!

The food was actually really good and the price was very affordable.

Went through the drive thru and ordered my normal “number 7” when I got to the window I was told that they had just ran out of chicken and they can do steak at no up charge. (Up charge is 30 cents) I said okay that’s fine since it was going to be free. The manager had apparently told them “no I’m not doing it for free” and ended up charging me for it without me knowing. I always look at my receipt and I saw that I was charged… now yes, it’s only 30 cents but it is the point of matter. I know it wasn’t the girls fault in the drive they window because she said she thought I heard him say that. But I would not have gotten it if I would have heard him say that. The manager should have done better. I am not impressed.. come on Taco Bell. As a regular customer who is there a lot. I am pretty upset. UPDATE… they also forgot my taco sauce ?

Andra makes the the trip worth it. Customer service at it's best. The food was tasty and quickly provided.
