El Abuelo Mexican Cantina - Lufkin

I'm finally when it comes to the Mexican farewell... We are outside the city visitors and decided to try this facility. I am really happy that we!!! This place is so courteous and a-m-a-z-i-n-g. I love the food and the service was excellent if you did not try this restaurant should you... it meets and surpasses! By far the best Tex sex I can't even compare it with everything I had before! The best hands down.

This was a pleasant surprise and experience for a birthday dinner! First, the service was great. Frankie was a wonderful server and leaned to our needs without missing a beat. She took time to answer questions without being defensive or asking too much. The manager made a special point to stop by ensuring that everything was satisfied. The food was very good, plentiful and tasty. Look at the pictures! Cleanliness was in place for a good restaurant. There were FIVE from us and there were ZERO problems! To the GM John Weeks and Asst. Manager: Keep high standards! Thank you.

This is a wonderful Tex-Mex eatery. The venue was super clean, the food was delicious, and the service was off the charts. Our server, Ana was a machine. Give that girl a raise!! Highly recommended.

Excellent food and service. There is a reason they are consistently rated as the BEST! The food is EXCELLENT! Pretty sure the holder taco shell they are willing to sacrifice to keep the taco crunchy makes them the best! See pic below! Such a simple idea for great food!

I've had some good claw Rellenos, but they were great! While the food was fabulous and the company great our waitress was a little flat. She had to smile more and feel more friendly. Decor was also beautiful. Will definitely recommend!
