Bidrage med feedbackI have to rejoice in NoTeaForMe and rate another restaurant of Lübeck, this time the old town Bierhaus, which we visited on the 3rd Lübeck evening. After two fish we had a desire for bourgeois food. In the run-up to this house, we seemed to be well suited and I already reserved a table for us from home, which was quite easy. The brick building with six steps in the entrance is somewhat hidden in a alley with irregular headstone plaster, which was moist from the previous rain and caused difficulties in walking, especially since the road was badly lit according to our feeling. By the way, we noticed that on other side streets. The traditional host house with spacious dining room serves German cuisine and five different beers from the barrel. Tresen/Die Theke in the middle of the room in the form of a brewery boiler as well as many pictures provide a rustic ambience. Immediately after entering the restaurant we were welcomed and welcomed. The Corona formalities were quickly finished, we were led to the table and the menu was handed over, which provided a wide range of services, primarily from the heading hearty, dedicating, strong. And exactly from this we ordered: For me a calf carving with roast potatoes and salad supplement for 21,00 €, plus (you already know this an alcohol-free yeast wheat, this time for the price of 4,50 €. My friend had the pleasure of the Cordon Bleu pork carving, filled with cheese and cooking ham, peas, sauce Hollandaise and croquettes for 18,00 € and a 0.2 l mineral water. A Cordon Bleu haven't eaten her for a long time and was looking forward to it. During the waiting period, we looked a little around. The HP promises a rustic-friendly ambience and a pleasant pub atmosphere. And so it was also with the typical rustic brewery furniture with red upholstery where you could sit comfortably. A lot of decoration on the walls (big paintings, pictures, beer fights, the tables nicely covered. That night, we wanted that. The food didn't wait long and came to the table for preheated plates. The service lady wished us a good appetite and we had it too. The Cordon Bleu of my girlfriend with the supplements fell to her satisfaction. The meat looks significantly smaller on the photo than it was in reality (perspective! . Hearty chef ham, spicy cheese, which ran out slowly when trimming, but the panade lacked any spice. The croquettes were a convenience product, but were prepared crispy. The photo shows that the salad dressing was mixed with a very tasty homemade honey mustard dressing. Two hand plates (women-sized carvings were also accompanied by a delicious salad dressing on the plate, the meat was tender and a little seasoned, but the panade had also not seen a spicing and could have been much more fluffy when roasting. The roast potatoes with bacon were so good, mostly with roasted aromas, but also here you could have smelled a little braver. Our service lady was very friendly and attentive, but not intrusive. She also asked about our satisfaction. My request for more courage in the seasoning would like to pass it on, but mentioned that not all guests see it. After the number we were kindly adopted. Conclusion: Well-kept, courtesy and friendly restaurant with grounded cuisine at a fair price where you feel welcome as a guest.
