Bidrage med feedbackI visited this restaurant and purchased some cookies. I tried the German Chocolate and Coconut Joy cookies. Both were delicious, but the Coconut Joy was especially amazing. I regret not buying a dozen! The white rye bread loaf was also delicious. Be sure to get here early as items sell out quickly.
I recently dined at Chef John's and unfortunately, I will not be returning. While I know the food is usually delicious and the service is good, my experience today was quite disappointing. Upon entering the busy restaurant, we placed our order at the counter and were told it would be ready in 10 minutes. As we waited on the bench, my husband had to take a work call and ended up waiting in the cold car. After waiting for 35 minutes or more, I realized something was wrong. When I approached the counter, the young lady appeared disinterested and threw the box towards me without saying a word or offering an apology. This lack of customer service was both strange and humiliating. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
If you live in Ludington or are visiting like I am, you must go to this restaurant when you are hungry! The food is fresh, the coffee is great, and the service is impeccable. My waitress, Wendy, was exceptional from the moment she greeted me to when I paid for my meal. The atmosphere was inviting and everyone was friendly, polite, and focused on providing excellent service. I plan to return next summer to sample their pastries and other treats. I can't wait!
Went in for breakfast by myself. It was delicious. Loved how nothing matched, making it feel like I'm at my childhood home. Was such a great breakfast, I decided to order sandwiches for our overnight crossing to Wisconsin. Will definitely come back ifwe are ever in town
Nice staff... but understaffed, unable to hire enough people to work. Food was ok, over cooked eggs. Popular place, had to wait for a table.
