Lobster Trapp - Lucea

The best juicy lobster in a magical environment with excellent service. It was a perfect evening with 20 friends. We were the only ones in the restaurant. They opened for us. I will not forget my experience in the Lobster Trapp in Hopewell. You have to go!

Such a magical environment on the edge of the ocean intimate, romantic and always blissful private (you have seen max 1 other couple eat simultaneously). Warm, family-run service. Fresh, perfectly prepared, fine, authentic food that is literally everything we want to eat when we are in Montego Bay. We would (and have tried) eat there every day. It is much more delicious and better than the Fancier Hotel restaurant nearby. Very recommended!

My husband and I ate there last weekend and absolutely LOVED it!! The food was delicious, the view was nice and the service was great!! The meal was 3 courses and all were simple and really delicious. The salad was fresh and delicious as the local vegetables. The lobster was DIVINE, stolen over Pimento chips for perfection. Not to mention it was the greatest lobster that each of us had. And the secret clarified butter recipe was from this world, we literally licked the bowl. Followed with the yummiest dessert of coconut ice cream and plantain pudding, of which we have eaten and whole dish. We are both food and picky about what we eat and we HIGHLY recommend this place for an amazing meal! We can't wait to stay at Round Hill.

If you like lobster, this is a must stop. Fresh catch of the day (caught by long-time owner) is excellent. Setting is rustic but authentic and magical. Oh, and best rum punch on the island!
