Bad experience, local attracts tourists just. It is the first time we eat a completely disbanded sea salad (boiled and just, without salt) and almost without seafood. full of tomato and green salad. spiced pasta with too much chili, panzanella with basil cooked by too much vinegar. sweets without art or part. expensive prices compared to quantity and raw materials.
Lucchese tradition to revive an anonymous infra-week lunch, my family and I decided to enjoy a nice selection of first Lucchesi dishes at the famous leathery julium tray. it was the first time for us, but it was enough to make us a good impression: comfortable environment, very kind service, genuine food and discreet invoice. we enjoyed the flour, the tomato parme and the tortellati macaroni. maybe a little less goose the ragù pens and the baked vegetables.
Under the walls of luxuriant location recommended, customers are not only tourists but also local people. good soups as well as seconds.
Typical luxuriant trattoria inside the city walls. the menu offers dishes of the typical appetizers of the area. adequate portions, excellent ravioli with herbs, macaroni and ravioli with ragú. as second excellent tartar of horse and potatoes bordered on sage. As for desserts, they say it is great the vegetable cake that unfortunately I could not taste as already finished. the chosen tiramisu was below our expectations.
