I won't get lost in too many words. The fact remains that this place surprised me and my girlfriend (celiac) a lot Here you eat the tradition of Lucca and beyond, even gluten-free. Gluten-free tortelli cooked al dente, perfect. Surprising cecina, and kid and beans out of the category. Crazy desserts including the gluten-free zuccotto. Booked a couple of hours before but after 7.30pm it filled up quickly, so I recommend booking early. The cuisine on offer is excellent, enriched by the pizzeria. Very friendly, professional and attentive staff. Cecina with chicory and anchovies is nothing short of amazing, the knife-cut beef tartare is excellent, the baked pork belly with asparagus deserves a monument, the risotto with asparagus and the vegetable side dishes with artichokes are also excellent.
