Double Nickel Steakhouse - Lubbock

I was able to join the Lubbock Area Sisters on the Fly for a wonderful dinner at the Double Nickel. Such an elegant setting and delicious food. I can't wait to come back to Lubbock soon.

Very nice steakhouse. meat so delicate that you could cut it with a butter knife. the service was top notch. our server could have done nothing else. the manager stayed at the table to see if everything was in order. bacon wrapped garnels were from this world.

We have dinner at the Double Nickel about twice a year. I have to say, we have never been disappointed. Service is great, the food is great, the cream corn is awesome, but the orange cake, I have no words to describe it, other than FREAKING AWESOME!

I really enjoyed dining at this swanky restaurant. Our server, Anthony, provided a top-notch service for our evening meal. Gave us some great recommendations in selections for our meal. My sister and I decided to have the 22oz steak for two and it came with two sides each. Per the suggestion of Anthony, we both ordered the spinach which had parmesan cheese on top and we also each ordered bake potatoes. She had a pomitini and I had a glass of Moscato, it was good. With all we had ordered, it was a lot and couldn't finish all but it was all so delicious. Enjoyed this place very much!

Best steak in Lubbock and a fantastic wine selection. Lovely atmosphere that definitely feels like you are out of town. Dress up, or don't...no one seems to really care, it is Lubbock after all. Just don't wear your hat inside or you will be asked to remove it...which upsets a lot of people who try to wear their cowboy hats at the dinner table. But who does that, anyway? Hats are not to be worn inside, especially not at the table...anyone who's ever served in the military or any actual cowboy knows that. Didn't your momma teach you nothing?
