The Good: Food was tasty and good portions. The Bad: arrived at 8 pm on a Saturday night to find the dining room locked. Hours on the door stand open till 10 pm. No other sign to indicate the dining room was closed. Decided to go to the drive thru instead. Order was taken efficiently by pleasant staff member. We ordered combo plates of chicken chow mein/sweet and sour chicken and orange chicken/teriyaki chicken. We waited for 20 25 min for 'fresh ' chicken chow mein. Food looked appetizing; however noted the cabbage was raw and the onion/Celery were also just barely cooked. For me, that was fine, but my husband doesn 't like raw cabbage. Also noted the sauces were very thin/watery. This was our first visit, not sure if we will repeat or not.
We visited the Chinese Kitchen Saturday evening. We were a bit surprised as we pulled to dine in. The lights were on outside and in the dining room. But as we tried to open the doors to enter, they were locked. The sign on the door stated that they were open until 10:00pm. We ended up having to pull through the drive through and order our food to-go. The food was good, but , obviously, by the time we got it home, it was not hot and the egg roll was soggy from sitting on the entree.
Decided to try a new restaurant with my fiance and our experience was not so great, the date we visited was 02/15/2022 between 3 and 4:30p.m. . The food seemed great to the eye until eaten. Food seemed as if it was over fried and the texture was hard on the batter of the chicken we both had as well as the dumplings and rice. I hope the team notices this comment as well their leaders. I know you all can do better, best of luck.
Very pricey for what you get. We ordered our food together, and my rice bowl took almost 15 minutes to come after my husband's plate. He was done eating by the time my bowl came out. The steak and chicken bowl...hide and seek with the meat. Like I said pricey!! There are very small pieces of steak and chicken, and the rice barely filled the bowl. Can't forget the one mushroom crowding out the one piece of broccoli... We've never seen chicken chow mein made completely with cabbage instead of noodles, but maybe it's a new thing? We dined in and they brought mine out in a go box with lid......don't let the door hit ya on the way out. A whole lot of behind the counter flirting going on. Too busy with that to make food. Pot banging and oh, then more pots banging around. Not a zen atmosphere whatsoever. Came hungry ...left hungry. Would not recommend this place. Try Thai pepper or aloha grill. Which are completely amazing and give you enough food.
