Tropical Smoothie Cafe

I don't know why I keep ordering from this place. The smoothies are always watered down and flavorless. I used to work at Tropical Smoothie in high school, so I know how easy it is to make a good smoothie. Just use less ice and water, and more fruits. I also placed an online order and, predictably, it was left out the whole time. Making smoothies for myself every morning is not that difficult.

There was no soap in the bathroom, so I will not be returning to this restaurant.

I usually visit the restaurant located on Jog and Lantana, but it was out of my way today. I decided to try this location and ordered my meal through the app, a smoothie and a wrap. I have been to this location a few times before and it was decent. When I got inside, I received a quesadilla instead of the wrap I had ordered. I mentioned the mistake and they remade it, but they forgot to add the extra veggies that I had requested on the app. The smoothie I ordered, the detox island green, was not blended well – there were chunks of ingredients at the bottom. It felt like a waste of $16. In the future, I will stick with either the restaurant in Wellington or Lake Worth as they seem to be more consistent.

Absolutely horrible quality of food and service. When I asked for a refund for the quesadilla and super greens wrap Liz argued with me endlessly. She would not process the refund and informed me I needed to come back to the store tomorrow to talk to a manager named Courtney. So not only did I waste $42 on the meals, but now also the time to come here today and now again tomorrow. The quesadilla had no cheese on it, was hard as a rock and burnt. You could not pull apart the tortilla to even try to see the lack of cheese. The super greens wrap had old wilted spinach and unripened tomatoes on it. I took two bites and couldn’t eat it it tasted so mushy and old. Liz’s attitude and lack of customer service was the most distasteful thing of the whole encounter. After I attempt to get a refund tomorrow I will never go to this location for food again!

Super delicious food! I ordered on the Tropical Smoothie app and it was really easy to navigate. You can easily view their menu, customize your order, and choose your pickup time. I initially download the app because I saw they had a rewards program so I was curious about what deals they had to offer. A great option on their menu is the pair and save which gives you a food item and a smoothie. There were so many good food options I couldn 't decide what to get until I saw a little pop up advertisement on their home page for the Strawberry Break '23 which was a strawberry balsamic flatbread paired with a strawberry daiquiri smoothie. That sounded like an amazing duo, so I bought it and boy I was NOT disappointed! It was SO GOOD!!! My coworker also recommended the sweet potato side and WOW it was great! Apparently they offer delivery too, which I didn 't use this time but me and my coworkers will probably use it in the future. They currently off free delivery on orders of $25 or more so that would be a great idea to do if you live in the area and have a group order (or order more food to have later! I work right next to this place so I will definitely be a returning customer Fun fact: did you know that $1 per sunshine smoothie goes to NO KID HUNGRY? How neat!
