Bidrage med feedbackI booked a king suite through Expedia and 2 days before my arrival I called and talked to the general manager Christian and was told that I had a jr. King suite. How would I even know that if I wasn 't told that??? I expressed to her that I just found out that my kid and her friend were able to come on the trip so I needed to make sure that we had enough beds. Before i spoke with her i pressed 1 for reservations and I spoke to them and was told I had a jr. king suite reserved. Then I speak with the manager and she tells me "oh yeah that room will sleep 4 easily it has a pull out bed and it 's not the cheap kind of pull out bed they are nice ones with thicker mattresses. She even proceeded to tell me that the room would be big enough if needed to request a rollaway bed as well. So I get to the motel to check in and when I tell him my name he says that he is sorry but my room type wasn 't available!!!! Why would he have even mentioned that if I only had a standard king booked? I do believe his name was Alex. So I am glad that I had booked another room because me and the hubby wanted some alone time. So he tells me to come back in the morning to talk about a refund with the manager. So I did and of course she is not there but I spoke with April and she also said that she read the notes on my reservation and that I would need to contact the manager but she wasn 't in yet and to come back a little bit later. So I did and the manager was only there for about an hour and I missed her. So the next day upon check out I tried again and no manager just April at the desk. It 's funny because I work at a motel as front desk and I can issue refunds for screw up all the time. I sure don 't give people the run around and waste their time just for the manager to say oh I looked at it and never seen anything but a king booked but send me the confirmation where it shows king suite...so I did and still getting the run around. Horrible customer service all they are trying to do is take their time and give me the run around so I eventually just give up. Horrible customer service front desk staff should be able to issue refunds. The manager and reservations gave me inaccurate info maybe they need smarter e mployees or maybe that 's how they make their money. I will never stay there again!!!
Homeless camp next door. 7 day stay , had service once and beds not made and left only 2 towels, started with 4. Pluses are fitness center and the capitol grill. We ate there 5 nights. Rooms a little small.
I caught the shuttle to PDX here. It's great for that.I probably would give it three stars if I had to pay for parking which I believe is $9 a day! Don't quote me.
I saw 4/5 stars and was hopeful, but should have read the comments the last four months. I won’t ever stay here again, my nose will thank me. For the price, I would expect the rooms not to smell like a dozen wet dogs wearing old gym socks, carpet covered in urine, and comforter with dirt blemishes and other people’s hair inside the bed. Customer service was friendly but unhelpful and offered me an odorizer spray and their apologies. If I could have walked away and not be charged, I would have ran. Lastly, the restaurant showed promise but was disappointing. If you order a 12oz prime rib, you’ll cut out 6-7oz of fat and the rest will be edible and dry (but the veggies were great).Disappointed I chose this place for my family. If you’re traveling with a pack of dogs and want to be accommodated, this place is for you.Rooms: Stinky, urine-filled carpet, tasteless coffee. Nice mirror and charging stations.Food drinks: Don’t eat here, but the drinks are fine.
This was a really nice hotel. It was very clean and the staff were extremely helpful. It had a nice bar and restaurant. We were traveling with a truck and trailer and were offered a place to park behind the hotel. The only problem was that hotel staff indicated our things were not safe due to theft in the area (bicycle rack and things in truck bed). Staff offered to keep our bicycle safe in their shop. We noticed several individuals walking around in the shadows (drug activity) and felt as though we were being watched as we gathered our things to go into the hotel. We ended moving our truck/trailer to the front of the hotel where there was more lighting and cameras. It’s too bad because it isn’t any fault of the hotel. Perhaps an increase in security presence and cameras would be helpful. I would stay there again if traveling by car.
