Pho 88 - Lowell

Food was ok, high salt content in soup so would make you quite thirsty. I got a plum club soda that was way too concentrated and salty as well. Service was slow. Water was not brought out with the menu and it took the server a noticeably long time to come take our orders. The place got busier as the night went on, so each server has more table to carry. The restaurant can improve with hiring more help.

Pho 88 used to be my go to pho spot. Never again. My daughter went out to eat there and brought me home takeout. She told them brisket only, no cilantro. After she ate she waited an hour for my takeout. When she brought it home it was loaded with cilantro, tripe and tendon. There was hardly any brisket and she paid for extra. The broth was loaded with cloves. It seemed like they were probably running low on broth and tried doctoring some up. It was disgusting. The little bit of brisket that came with it was like shoe leather and loaded with fat. $36. Robbery. Never again.

By far my favorite place to get pho the flavors are unbeatable and overall a great price I always get the chicken wings and popcorn chicken with my pho order and I can never get enough.

When there is one place that everybody love you need to recommend.

Friendly wait staff, no wait for a table on a Saturday afternoon, delicious pho and spring rolls. Thai iced tea was also delicious.
