Soul Food Sensations - Lovettsville

This was my first time at the restaurant. I must say that I was very pleased with the service and food. We drove 1 hour to get there and was not disappointed. Will definitely visit again. I wish you great success and please keep the friendly atmosphere and service.

Very pleasantly surprisedI had the fried chicken, collards, and greenbeans. All were very good. Cupcake was light and tasty. My wife had mac/cheese, which I had the 2nd day at home very cheesy/good. Service was excellent. I'm going back to try the meatloaf and catfish when we return (if my wife lets me not exactly my ideal diet : . This place reminds me of good home cooked southern food. And I'm delighted they are here.

Second time eating here. The food is always good. Best meatloaf in Tri-State area!

Stopped by for dinner tonight with my daughter and had the single (large and perfectly fried) catfish filet with collards and onion ring sides (got the rings for her). My daughter went with the chicken salad sandwich. Both meals were excellent. I was also there for breakfast a couple of weeks back and had a veggie omelet and potatoes. Both hit the spot, and I highly recommend to family, friends and neighbors.My first comment to my daughter after eating the catfish was that her grandmother would have enjoyed this restaurant. Reminded me of eating with her at a fish house on the Cape Fear river in NC. Give it a go, and it will become a regular go-to for eat in or take out.
