Bidrage med feedbackAfter we were uprooted by sarlat in the dordogne, we were tempted and our host recommended here, but after we read the last review of over 18 months, we decided to give it before. the restaurant was quiet for a Friday night, but we were welcomed by the owner a...warm. we both had the filet of the bark with glow mushrooms and asked for a medium-sized, rare steak. it came as desired, along with a selection of fresh vegetables and potatoes. the court was great. After I had the more pelted, the baked was flaky and crisp, and the apples were perfectly cooked. the whole meal was well presented and thoroughly enjoyed by both of us. please do not let them stand out from previous comments and give this restaurant.
Options in louviers when we were really limited, so we were pleased to identify this option on tripadvisor as it got good reviews for eating, although the environment was not called great. the ambiente reminded me of a cellar recovery room, but. the food itself was not particularly good, and I felt that we were considered disturbing by the owner. she was more interested in putting other tabs than offering us a menu or taking our order. the amuse bouches were cold, probably left, puffs filled with a kind of cold tomato jam. the tete tatin was just a few limp apples on thick soggy bucks with caramel ice cream sauce. and in the normandie! our salad starters and fish adventures were delicious, but overall this was a disappointment also with relatiw low expectations. among the circumstances I am not surprised that there is only one other table of patrons seemed a birthday party of customers known by the owners.
The plaisirs of the sens is an excellent restaurant. eating is beautifully presented and delicious. the building itself has no charm, but the bed linen tableclothes and serviettes make for it. it is next to a small river and bridge that beautiful flowers. you can watch the strange fish while they eat. her foie gras is excellent. desserts are a joy. I highly recommend it.
15 of us ate at two consecutive evenings and although it was extremely hot inside and outside we had two very good meals. we went for the set menu, which was just a choice of two starters, netzen and puddings and they were well represented and well cooked. the minzmacaroons were rather green in the color, but good taste. good for couples and big groups, although as with us the two other couples, where probably overwhelmed by us. the service was good when considering that they did all the services etc. a good evening and it is worth going back
