Relais De La Forge - Loury

We were travelling and reached Loury at lunch time on a Sunday. On spec we asked for a table and there was space most of the other guests I think had booked. We took the three course 25 Euro menu. Good starters, for main course we had a generous portion of duck. The desert trolley was wicked! The whole meal took two hours (in French style) so I am glad we were not in a rush. The portions were generous.

Lovely French restaurant, lovely staff. They have all the famous French dishes like cheese, paté, foie gras : ' and more. Everything is cooked in butter like French is supposed to be) so don 't expect a light dinner.

The second time, I'll go with a few years apart. We eat very well and the welcome is excellent. The meal ends in apotheosis with the dessert basket.
