Masa Japanese Bistro And Sushi

My colleague and I were visiting from out of town and searched for sushi restaurants nearby. This place was clean, the food was tasty, and the staff were friendly. They have an "A" grade on their health inspection. The prices were very reasonable! We will definitely come back when we are in town again.

Overall, I had a great experience at the restaurant, but I found the sushi rice to be excessively salty. I believe it may have been a one-time mistake.

My experience at Masa Japanese Bistro Sushi Bar was delightful and enjoyable. The restaurant had a modest decor and a welcoming atmosphere. We started with a delicious order of Egg Rolls as an appetizer. The crispy vegetable rolls came with a side of sweet chili sauce that was very enjoyable. Although we had already eaten two rolls before I could take a picture, they were a good size. My wife had a Bento Box with shrimp Teriyaki, which included tempura, steamed rice, gyoza, California Sushi, soup, and a house dressing. She chose the Hibachi soup, which she found to be awesome, along with a house salad dressed in a tasty ginger dressing. She enjoyed all of the items in her Bento box, saying they were very flavorful. The portion size was generous, so we had leftovers to take home. I had a Teriyaki dish with chicken and New York steak, served with rice and a house salad. Like my wife, I chose the Hibachi soup, which I also enjoyed. The rice, salad, and soup portions were substantial. The Teriyaki dish included various vegetables in a delicious sauce, with the chicken and beef both tasting good. The beef was slightly chewy, but not to the point of being unbearable. Despite this, I would still order the dish again. The generous serving sizes and value for money make Masa a must-try if you're looking for delicious Japanese food.
