Hiko A Mon Modern Japanese Downtown

Our server was attentive and friendly. Food was incredible!

We were in town for a theatre conference and wanted sushi near the convention center. It was nice to be able to make reservations ahead of time. The sushi lunch deal was great!

The food is fantastic. The service is basically non existent. I think this should be a successful restaurant, but the service will kill it.

The food was delicious, but the service was horrid. We waited 10 minutes in the front before anyone even came out to talk to us about being seated. Then once we were seated, it was another full 15 minutes before we were asked to order drinks. There were no waiters or bartenders to be found in the entire place.

My husband’s birthday dinner. The wait staff was friendly and very good. The food was very good as well. We generally go to Westport Rd location but they were full so we were able to get in at the downtown location. Wonderful experience and we could hear each other easily as this location is not as big busy as the original one. We will definitely head back downtown regularly!
