Fenways - Loughborough

We were a party of five and only one of three tables there on a Saturday evening. They crammed us around a small table and when we requested to move they said they were fully booked yet no one else arrived during our meal. It took over 20 minutes to get our drinks, which were sat on the bar and we had to ask the waitress to get, when they came, they were flat and weak. We waited a further 40 more minutes for food 2 of which were enjoyable but none of which were worth the £15 each. We left disappointed as it was meant to be a birthday celebration meal and the whole experience was just depressing. Only wish we had read other reviews before we went. Avoid, there are so many better places to eat in Loughborough.

Great food, nice atmosphere, service excellent! Would recommend

Excellent food, excellent atmosphere. Only minus is the service although great we had to wait a while for the bill, but the waiting staff were over run.

We arrived, table ready. Place was half empty but told it had gotten busy and there would be a wait on food. Menu not the same as what was on the open table website where you have to book the table, so disappointing when you’ve seen something you want before hand and then it’s not on the menu when you get there. Asked for steak medium rare, came medium well, far too over cooked but had already waited ages for the food.

We’ve been to Fenways a couple of times before and loved it, but it’s gone really down hill since the new owners took over.
