Pedro's Cantina - Los Gatos

Wonderful food and a great service. We're coming back to dinner!

Yummy! You've come to Pedro for a long time. I think a few years back they may have changed owners because the menu is slightly changed, but it is still very similar. The only thing that changed and I'm not a fan of is the Camarones cancun. The sauce is different than before, but it's still delicious. I love their chips and salsa, so fresh and tasty, and they also serve them with a cup of fried beans and cheese to immerse the chips. Today I had the broken fish tacos with a spicy crisp silence and they were excellent. You're pretty big tacos, and I could probably have them. You are located on Santa Cruz Avenue in downtown Los Gatos.

The bartender who served us during the day was terrible. The food was alright, but he made our group feel uncomfortable from start to finish, ruining our meal. He wasn't rude, but he didn't listen when we politely informed him of an allergy, ignoring our request to omit a certain fruit. The hostess had to bring us a new server because he avoided us once he realized there was an issue. We will not be returning to this restaurant, especially with so many other delicious Mexican options nearby. We debated leaving a smaller tip, but ultimately decided to give 15% out of courtesy. The only reason this review gets two stars is because of the hostess.

I am so disappointed with my recent experience at Pedro's. The food and drinks used to be delicious and of high quality, but in the last six months, there has been a drastic increase in prices and a complete overhaul of the menu. The Tostada has shrunk by 40% and they no longer offer complimentary chips. I can't believe they charge for chips now. This will be my last visit to Pedro's as it is outdated, ordinary, and overpriced. I paid $108 for a small chicken Tostada, a chicken burrito, a kids meal, and four margaritas (two of which were of low quality). It's no wonder the restaurant is empty.

Quick, polite,efficient, quality amazing, price is fair. I recommend 3 tacos carne asada with a whit peach California margarita. The drink was on point. Highly recommend.
