Locally with very good atmosphere and good selection of craft beer. excellent music. a must when they are in downtown la.

Great dipping with good music, friendly staff and good beer. this is a local hangout, but it also gets a fair number of international travelers from the hostel on the street. update: forget to mention the terrace is dog friendly as long as they are cooled. this place is very welcoming in relaxed wise. update from 7/15/17: new manager got a good happy hour to cheeseburger from meatzilla a few doors down and a design beer delivered for $10 dollar. fries are an extra $3.

The bartender brandon was extremely helpful and informative when I asked about her beer selection. he recommended her meatzilla burger, fry and beer happy hour special for $10! 10/11 would go back. btw try their design old-fashioned! twas yummy.

Awesome spot in DTLA! Wendell is a nice low-key bar with a nice list of beer on tap (even more available in cans) and a full bar. They don 't have a menu exactly, it 's more of a tell us what you 'd like and we will make it happen sort of attitude. Our bartender was super friendly and attentive. It is a small spot but has a great friendly vibe. The restrooms were big and clean. I am excited to come back with friends!

I've been coming here for years and hands down the best true Wendell Bar drinks!! The price is also worth it too for what you get. Yes you will wait for your drink and yes there is limited seating during peak hours. Dark traditional decor and the place doesn't serve food but has a vendor set up outside for AMAZING cheep tacos!!!! Sometimes I go just for the taco's
