My friends and I love everything about this restaurant! For the last 5 years it is our spot for birthdays and taking our out of towner guests! The classic Sicilian menu is done to perfection and takes me back to the homemade dishes I enjoyed on Sundays and holidays in Brooklyn and Albany NY with my Italian loves ones! This is my favorite Italian restaurant on the west side. The marinara is the best! My friends ask me to go here even just for the garlic knots and marinara...it's that good! We, international travel foodies, have cycled through pretty much the entire menu and we all love it. The staff is stellar. This is a family owned gem for over 30 years with loyal happy staff. The owners eat dinner in their own restaurant. It's such a pleasure to have the same staff every visit...it's feels like we are part of the family at our home restaurant. This is a cozy, classic, neighborhood haven with the ideal beach breezes upon the open wall of windows to outdoor Cafe seating on a quiet private side street. Think ideal beauful twinkling white lights, quaitnt, privacy, and romance for special sunset summer California dreaming dinner delights at its best!

Amazing meal at this unassuming neighborhood restaurant. I don't get here often because it's out of the way for me. But I've never been disappointed. This time we started with the cold eggplant parmigiana as an appetizer. Then I had one of the specials: filet of sole picatta with mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach. Delicious, and well worth the drive.

We went for lunch. The food was delicious, especially those garlic knots! Very friendly and pleasant environment.
