Urban Skillet - Los Angeles

Me and my family were visiting LA for the first time, and we found this great halal restaurant near the Santa Monica pier, we tried their (oh so hot) burger and the fries. I will give 5 stars to their food, service and atmosphere. I will definitely go again here.Food: 5/5

Walked over with my buddy for lunch since the weather was so nice. I was excited to try their menu seeing good the pictures looked. It wasn't crowded at all when we went at 2pm. It was super stuffy inside since they didn't have the air on at all.Truffle Burger pretty good sized and cooked well. Patties were bland, didn't seem to be seasoned. Aioli truffle sauce was minimal, so it didn't help the burger much. Overall unimpressed.Blazing Chicken Burger Well put together! This was flavorful and crispy. Much rather eat this than the truffle burger.Skillet Fries Generally ok. Portion size was pretty small for the price.This place could be amazing if they just tweaked a few things here and there. Didn't leave me with the desire to go back to try other things on the menu.

One of many restaurants in the Arts District and one I would definitely come back to. It's a quick fast food place that's so delicious. I had the Smac N' Cheese Burger because I'm a s for macaroni and cheese. The meat was decently cooked and I loved the whole burger itself. Such an irony because it looked like a messy burger where the juices would drip on my fingers as I was eating it, but it didn't happen. I also had the fries (free with Yelp check in) and they were barely seasoned and crinkle at that. There's metered parking available. I will definitely be back again.

I was here in Sept 2019 from Singapore Malaysia. Street parking available. Staff was very friendly. Even went to our table and chatted with use. Delicious Halal food. Highly recommended.Food: 5/5
