Trejo's Tacos Miracle Mile

I have tried many vegan burritos, and the jackfruit one at this restaurant is among the best I have ever had. It is absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture. Additionally, the branded beer served here is also very good.

The vegan jackfruit taco was unexpectedly excellent. I regret not ordering more than one.

Lovely place, we got chips and guac, a couple jackfruit tacos and a mushroom asada bowl. All fantastic, the guac was bright and fresh, the tacos and bowl savory and flavorful and filling. Yum!

I had high hopes for these tacos as a vegan, but they were only decent. I tried a variety of options including young jackfruit, cauliflower, and mushroom asada. Although everything was cooked well and the staff was friendly, the flavors were lacking. The standout was the mushroom asada, which was the most flavorful. Overall, I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come back to this restaurant, but there are plenty of choices on the menu if I do decide to return.

I wouldn’t expect much from a chain built around the marketing of an actor, but I stand corrected. I’ve had the pleasure of eating here on several occasions and it’s always some of the best vegan Mexican street style food I’ve had in this town. Free tap water and great outdoor space to eat as well. Can’t go wrong with Trejo’s if you’re looking for a quick bite.
