Food is overrated--not worth the price. Service was decent.
A favorite, we love introducing friends to this original DTLA Arts District gem and our go-to for pre-Music Center performances. Tried some new dishes (shrimp ravioli, mushroom focaccina) and old favorites (frittura, Casonzei, and their ethereal pesto dish in particular) as well as cocktails (Olo Rosso and the Nux Roll were keepers) a lovely Arneis. We enjoyed everything. I’m going to try to recreat that Olo Rosso for sure! The focaccina was more like a Sardinian flatbread, nice and light crisp. And the shrimp ravioli in a lightly thickener seafood stock was delicious. Life is not perfect and things happen but rest assured that any hiccups will be handled by the stellar service. Looking forward to our next trip back!
We have been in LA for 2 weeks. We decided to visit Factory Kitchen at the last minute on our last night. The valet situation seems a bit odd since there is s full parking lot and you can just park your own car, but we paid the 13 to have a guy hop in our car and park it right where we could have parked on our own. Once inside it is s bit noisy and dark, but after we moved past all that, everything else was amazing. We loved our drinks, the food was outstanding! We were so happy we found this little gem. For a party of 2 our bill came to 105. We each had 1 drink and shared a pizza and a pasta dish and finished with s shared dessert. They were kind to split the pasta into two plates before bringing it to the table. It was the perfect amount for two people. We would definitely return!
Factory Kitchen is a neighborhood gem. From its industrial decor to its fan tas tic Italian food to the gentleman parking cars. We love Factory Kitchen but please, keep this a secret.
