Son of a Gun - Los Angeles

Michelin recommended, Son of a Gun offers a refined taste if you’re looking for that, or an equally basic one if you’re more into fried chicken and fries. We had fish stuffed with Guac, trout and a smoked fish dip. All delicious and very unique.

My phone had broken and I needed a screen repaired. Yes it happens strangely once a year but found a place near by that not only had great energy and great decor. I posted up at the bar and enjoyed not only the sea fairing decor but the fantastic Jacob told me about the restaurant and it's decor being done by the same exact creative that did Twin Peaks. So very rad. I support this place, it's whiskey sours, Jacob the amazing bartender and it's very well done fish and chips : it's absolutely fantastic and we are lucky to have it in our city of angels.

Quick trip to LA and our first stop was Son of a Gun. Each dish was delicious! We had the hamachi, shrimp toast, lobster roll (it's small so just order two), clam linguine, fried chicken sandwich and the bourbon crunch ice cream. When we go back, I'd order all of these dishes again but I know we need to try more of the menu so MAYBE we'll try new things. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Overall, wonderful experience.

Just fantastic. We had perfect service- our server gave stellar recommendations that didn’t disappoint. We ordered the shrimp toast, tuna melt, lobster roll and chicken sandwich. All of the above are bananas good.
