Bidrage med feedbackMinutes away from LAX and absolutely a must if you love authentic Mexican food. There are several types of authentic Mexican food they serve from the regions listed below. Mazatlan, Mezcal, Cancun, Aculpoco, Puerta Villarta to name a few.
The food is delicious but a bit overpriced as are most restaurants these days. My complaint is the door host, he always makes me feel uncomfortable and last week he made my son feel uncomfortable while he was waiting for me because he wouldn't seat him without me being there even though we're regular customers. I have a service dog as well and I've brought him with me almost every time and every time the host gives me a hard time. I'm not sure if they know it's against the law to discriminate against somebody with a service dog. I do not like attention so it makes me extremely nervous and I don't know if I'm going to be able to eat there anymore because now my son is uncomfortable too. The waiters are awesome though. I'm not sure of the waiter's name, but he's the older one with salt and pepper hair, and he always makes us feel welcome and comfortable.
Paco's has great food, handmade tortillas and staff who have been there a long time, which says a lot. GREAT margaritas. Update: still great. A fixture in the neighborhood.
Great food and atmosphere! Be warned: they close at 7:45 on most weekdays days… before half of Los Angeles eats dinner. I don’t understand what management is thinking but that’s less money for them I guess. I’d dine there much more often but typically eat dinner at the “extremely late” hour of 8 o’clock (I hope you can read my sarcasm, Paco’s management).
The food was good and the fresh tortillas are amazing. Service and atmosphere are very good. The interior is much larger than expected and it was very busy. The prices are a bit high, but the portions are large.
