Omakase By Osen - Los Angeles

When we arrived at 8 pm, our seat had been occupied. We have to wait outside for more than 20 minutes. The food is okay but not great. Overall, it's my worst omakase experience in my life.

Overall it was good. We love the choices of the sashimi quality and quantity of the food. Bento box sashimi was little salty, and wish there is little bit more choices of side order.

I was still hungry when i left, food was in very small portions. The service was good, i guess it's all about the experience and the show rather than the portions and taste of the food. Not worth the amount of money they charge.

I had omakase — perfectly average and about 50 percent of meal was actually fish. Chef seems uninspired and it shows. Was disappointed.

Left much to be desired for the price point.Booked the bar Omakase on a Tuesday.Food: the fish was good quality but the cuts graceless and uninspired.The best were the expected ones,fatty tuna, seared yellow tail, snapper.Forgettable.The service was awkward and hovered over us for every bite. Too much interaction, no ability or read the natural flow of the table.Broken intimacy barriers, with no real sense of hospitality through the meal.Dishes were pushed out very fast with little time to think of it was good or enjoyable as the next dish was in front of us before the plate was fully cleared.The meal felt very rushed, and we the only people in mid way a party of 2 walked in)The atmosphere was expected for a traditional sushi restaurant but lacked anything remarkable.Wouldn’t return.
