O Sushi - Los Angeles

The sushi's affordable, my grandmother loves this place. It's always a hit.

I ordered delivery so I can only base my review off of that, but I really enjoyed it! I checked Yelp after I ate and was surprised to see O Sushi only had 3 stars so I'm leaving a review because I think they deserve more than that. We got a bento box, pink lady roll, and albacore special roll. Everything was really good and everything was packed with care. I will definitely be ordering again.

Pitcured is the Salmon Lover's roll (spicy salmon, cucumber, avocado topped with fresh salmon) and the Ichiban roll (spicy tuna and cucumber with assorted fish topping).I LOVED the salmon roll and thought the Ichiban was just good! That just comes down to personal preference though. The ingredients were SUPER fresh and the prices for the rolls were great. The appretizers were a little expensive I should note. Overall super delicious and I will be going back here for sure!!Vegetarian options: Friend got a yummy Tofu bowl; it seemed like there were lots of vegan and vegetarian options!

Great local neighborhood place. Staff are lovely and easy to stop by on the way home.

Very solid sushi for a great price. O Sushi is not the fanciest of sushi joints in the Sawtelle area but it is fresh and consistent. I regularly order miso, yellowtail, albacore, or udon with tempura and it 's done right every time. The fish is always good quality, I 've had the occasional tendon in my nigiri, but I 've never had bad fish served to me. I 've seen reviews about the staff being unpleasant, which I think is just funny bc the staff has always been kind and respectful to me. The woman working at the register taking your orders is the only person working that job from open to close and she does a good job and actually is attentive when you sit down to eat. Crazy how customers equate busy to rude . Would love this specific restaurant to stick around as the rest of the food in the strip mall is mostly dismal. The environment is clean and nice, a great place for a quick lunch or take out for dinner
