Marugame Udon - Los Angeles

Ordered the cold bk udon. had a great texture! the staff was a little slow, as it was like a few people new. great place for affordable, delicious food!

It is super disappointing that marugame is not cage-free. I thought they had better standards for their food. I will not eat here until they take animal welfare seriously

Dropping in early Saturday evening we were lucky that it was pretty open for that time. Never been here before took me awhile to understand the workflow. You pick up a tray and order the bowls from the beginning the for the tempura you choose them as you move your way down to the cashier. My wife ordered the 8 beef upon and it was really tasty with the green onion and tempura flake. I ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl , wasn't a fan of the breaded chicken. Should have ordered an udon bowl. Will do that next time.

Oh, you know, just sitting here in Marugame, excited to write my review with a full stomach. The first thing to mention is how delicious my udon soup was. I ordered the #6 (Nikutama); with zero regrets; it was amazing! My partner ordered the #9 (Tonkotsu) and also enjoyed it. We shared the Bubble Gum Green Tea, which was super refreshing. I also really enjoyed the ordering process. No wait! I walked in with a minimal line, and everyone went down a buffet-style ordering process. In the end, the utensils and extra additives can be found. Cups and to-go boxes are also very accessible as well. The prices are excellent for the quality of food. The Udon noodles are spectacular and have the perfect texture. I had a fantastic experience, and so did my taste buds!

I cannot recommend marugame udon because of their bad animal protection. they practice a bad customer service by not responding to the animal torture in their supply chain, even though many customers bring them to their attention. they offer lower food safety standards at another place outside the usa, which is not correct. I cannot support this company!
