The food was great. But the hostess started us with an acidic note. We'll put our phone number on their list. She said she'd call if our tables were ready in 20 minutes. Nevertheless, half of our party stayed right in front of the chat. After 30 minutes passed, no call was received. One of the party members went to check how much longer it would be. She said since we weren't there, she skipped us. When they stood in front of the building, they were not too far from her, and she had said she would call to let us know that our table was ready. When he told her she was very short with him and she said he had to wait as new customers came in and she went inside to see if there was another table. Every time she would appear, she would take other groups that came after us again. By the end we went straight to the door so that others who arrived later would not be asked before us. Next time she came out, we were right at the door. After all, she took us. There were three open tables. She leads us to the one who looks unclean and then leaves us without a word. There are 5 of us and only four chairs. So when we had assumed that the manager had come to us and was asked if we were brought here (as we were standing right now), we said yes, but she left us, so she put us on the following table that had enough chairs and looked clean. Our waiter was friendly and fast. Our food was delicious, but we were already annoyed as we were treated before the entrance. It took almost an hour before we entered.

The terrace seating was nice. Food was good, but not unforgettable. I wouldn't go out to eat here, but the service was fast and the prices were average.

Was recommended by the conductor on my Amtrak, and wow was that a big call! A short walk from the Union railway station, with a counter-service format that makes it easy for those on a tight schedule. Great price for excellent food - the tortillas, freshly made in the house, are basically a transcendent experience, and the pollo con salsa verde was excellent. A shaded terrace perfect for enjoying a cup of Jamaica completes it for a great small place for lunch. Very recommended!

My favorite place to eat in LA! The food is always fresh and delicious. I?ve been coming here for over 20 years and it has stayed consistent welcoming with amazing food. I highly recommend the carnitas plate though you can?t go wrong with anything you pick. If you need something sweet, don?t forget to try the jamaica.
