This is one of the best Japanese restaurants I have ever experienced! The portions are generous, and the staff is wonderful!

What? Only 4 stars? I tried the tuna sushi special, which consisted of four pieces of heavenly rice balls: toro, bluefin tuna, regular tuna, and yellowfin. Unfortunately, the beef sukiyaki was disappointing—likely because it’s not a popular choice. The portion size was generous, and the staff were both attentive and friendly. Water was complimentary, but hot tea cost $2. I managed to find metered parking right outside, but it can be a bit challenging to secure a spot on weekdays.

Great spot for a date night, and it's just a short walk to the Venice Pier.
