Beetle House La - Los Angeles

The staff is very attentive and very much in character! Came for my wife's birthday and we both loved it! The food was very tasty and while a starting price of $60/adult seems like a lot, it's not considering you get an appetizer and an entree. The performers were all very professional and quite hilarious as well. The ambiance is spooky of course, and the lighting just adds the cherry on top. Highly recommend getting a reservation in advance and coming here when you can!

We made reservations for 5pm, it’s when they opened on this particular day. We were the first ones seated. The hostesses were lovely and sweet, so was our waitress. The 3 stars is for a few issues we had. 1. For $60 PP i would expect more. The “appetizers” were small, the mains were good but $60 for a burger fries and a side of Mac n cheese? Seemed a bit outrageous, but we do understand it’s for the show as well, but the show was lacking we’ll get to that later. The burgers were tasty, fries were fresh, the hen was juicy and the mashed potatoes it came with were really good. 2. Two people ordered the black dahlia burger and didn’t get that. They weren’t told they were out of those buns and was just given what they had and brought it to the table, rude. 3. They were also sold out of the beer we wanted, as well as the death by chocolate cake, we found that odd since they just opened. 4. The red velvet cake- the icing was great and sugary but the cake was very dry. I mean dry dry. On to the show: We were there the full hour and a half they allow you to stay on the floor and 3 acts came out and sang a single song so it was a lot of waiting around, boring almost. 5. We wanted to see Beetlejuice before we left, asked the waitress when he was coming on she said they aren’t told the order the acts come in but she said he wouldn’t be here tonight. Big let down. We came here to see him, Imo- if the main act won’t be in, let that be known. So we left at 6:30pm. The acts were cute but corny in a way. All in all it was fine, it was an interesting experience, but we all agreed we wouldn’t come back, just too many mishaps for our first visit. If the owners see this I understand things happen shortages happen, people call in, but three different items being sold out on an already intimate menu, and with reservations that can’t be cancelled without a fee less than a day prior, and the major act not being in isn’t a good look but we appreciate the effort.

Wife and I went to celebtate 15 yrs, had the BEST experience! Atmosphere, service, and the Food was perfect. We started with the cheese fries with truffles and prongs amazing! We both decided to go with the Fillet (Medium and Medium Rare) came cooked PERFECTLY, so delicious. The show and interaction with the guest keep us entertained for the 2 hour reservation! We WILL be visiting again!

What an awesome experience! Great show, fantastic performances really loved how all of the characters come around and visit each table. Food was really good, highly recommend the Burria Nachos. Beetlegeuse was hilarious, well worth the visit

My husband and I went out to California to celebrate our anniversary. This. Place. ROCKED. The food was phenomenal and at a good price point. (We had the Edwards Scissor Burger and the Sweeny Beef. The performers were talented and attentive. Drinks were fun and delicious. Service was great, but a special shout out to Pixie. She went above and beyond to make our experience phenomenal. Thank you for such a memorable evening!
