Bidrage med feedbackPretty bad. I 've worked in restaurants my whole life and it was a pretty disappointing experience considering how expensive it is. First of all at least we got seated right away pre-theater, so that was nice. Our server was adorable and very nice however the $50 steak that we ordered was half in edible because it was all fat. And the mashed potatoes were like would you like some potatoes with your butter sir? I literally thought I was sleeping out butter out of the dish it was so runny and disgusting. Both me and my boyfriend s steak were left uneaten There was no garnish on the plate or anything. Oh! And the wedge salad was gross too! They don 't even chop the f bacon up! We were trying to have a romantic date all while trying to muscle and contend with this thick piece of bacon. It was very annoying to have to do that. Isn 't it supposed to be like a fancy restaurant because it 's high priced. Do not be fooled by the location. It 's all tourists. Omg and the knive situation. So the kind waiter came over and gave us a giant serrated knife to cut our wedge salad. Then he came back with a knife Ive literally seen at the dollar store. Like a tiny blade with like a plastic handle. I kid you not I was shocked. Having worked in a Michelin star restaurant I was appalled. Also no paper towels in the ladies restroom. We had one wedge, one NY , one short rib fat piece of s mashed potatoes and a Diet Coke for $150 Bat s crazy. Nice work management!
I live steakhouses, and if you are in downtown Los Angeles, this is the place to go. The steak was cooked to perfection, sides were delicious, and the atmosphere devine.
Jonathan was awesome greeting us at the front. We got there early so we sat at the bar before our table was ready, Bar Manager hooked it up with some bespoke drinks. Some roasted pecans came out from the kitchen to snack on while we drank. When our table was ready, our server was was attentive and super helpful. Food came out in perfect timing as we finished our starters and transitioned into mains. Food was incredible we got EVERYTHING. Overall one of the best times at any restaurant. We’ll be back and we’ll bring back friends and family!

APL IS THE BEST! The steak is phenomenal and the cauliflower sides are the best thing on earth! Great place to have dinner before a show at the Pantages or at the Bowl.
