We went to Providence once about 8 years ago, dreamed of it ever since and went back again for another anniversary. Providence impressed again just as fully. There isn't a need for me to cover the food bc of all of the other reviews. Suffice to say it's my favorite dinner experience I've been lucky enough to enjoy. Such a nice touch to send us home with the menu and the wine pairings, I've been buying my favorites off of that list. The customer service is lovely and it is, frankly, hard to leave. I am a little sad they replaced the natural stone bar that was there previously but I'm sure there was a reason. I hope to come back again someday!
Celebrated my birthday day at the 2-Michelin Star Providence. Providence recently also received the Green Star for their sustainable practices. There's a rooftop garden and beehives where they harvest the ingredients for the tasting menu. It was definitely an experience that will live in my memory for a long time! Service was impeccable and attentive. Food was out of this world! From savory to sweet and everything in between. a5 Waygu was like butter! Cod and Halibut were amazingly prepared. We were told they employed a cold aging process for the halibut and it truly enhanced the flavor. The sourdough is not to be passed up even if you're on a keto diet. Unless you have food allergies. This is the night when exceptions are made. I'd love to bring one home! There's no words I can describe the white truffle pasta. It's my first time eating white truffle and I definitely savored every bite. It was decadent and delectable! Please take your time to smell the beautiful aroma before biting into it. Every dish was a surprise and the best part is they used fresh herbs honey harvested from the restaurant's rooftop garden. Each dish was thoughtfully planned and developed with so much complexity in the flavors. It was an unforgettable evening and I felt like a princess!
Came here long ago the food was decent. it's still a catch. brought a nice lady here. seafood not my thing but it whatever pleases her and this place she liked.
The best wagyu I have ever had. The service was very nice. Portions were perfect. We were celebrating the graduation and the ambiance was great . Overall, it was such a great experience. Thank you!!
Classy, understated ambiance and absolute top top top level service. Most of the dishes were great, and some were downright insanely good. Sadly, I thought that the mains in the tasting menu were the least impressive, so I could also see a 4* being appropriate here. Cost is obviously the big issue. My wife has been asking to come to this place for like 10 years, but we were much too poor before. Everything was super nice and I'm glad we experienced this fanciness, but I think you'll see us next time at the more casual Connie and Ted's.
