Matsu Japanese Steak House - Longview

Amazing food and service. My family and I went there to celebrate my husband's birthday. When we got there we were seated immediately and our waiter was on us like white on rice on a paper plate. Lol our drinks never went empty (excellent in my book) The chef was amazing and entertaining. The food was delicious, especially the calamari appetizers; best I've ever had. The only thing that is lacking is the decor. It is a bit outdated and rundown, but food makes up for it. Worth the money.

Very good food. The chefs, that cook it right in front of you, are entertaining and talented. The portions are so large, that there's no way that you won't be taking half of it home. The restaurant itself needs a little fixing up. Some people might be turned off by this, or give it less stars for environment. This isn't an important factor to me as long as my food is fresh and everywhere my food touches is a clean area. I feel that this is true here. Our chef took great care to cook and clean in a sanitary way, so whether the carpet looked old or whatever, didn't matter to me. I recommend eating here next time you are craving Asian food and especially if you want to be entertained as well.

This place has the most amazing food. Hands down, the best hibachi place we've found here. The chefs are fun, portions are huge and the food is comparable to what we ate while living in Japan. That is honestly the highest praise I can give. We come here every year on our anniversary and will continue to!

The best in town! I highly recommend the sushi!!! Great place to take a date with 20.00 it gets you both steak and shrimp with fried rice, noodles, veggies, soup, and a salad. We always spend the extra 32.00 on top of that and get the lobster. I would give my last 32.00 dollars for it if that tells you how good it is!!!
