Longview Steakhouse

Our friends took us here for dinner on Friday (they had made a reservation prior). The staff here are all very friendly and the view is wonderful. Soup of the day was cauliflower and white cheddar which was delicious. Husband and I shared the chateaubriand and it was very good. Cooked to our liking with some nice vegetables and a flavourful gravy. Dessert was a chocolate cake which was good and husband said their coffee is some of the best he’s had. Would definitely like to come back.

One of the greatest dining experiences of my life. Remote and gorgeous. Great service from the Lovely owner and his family, and exceptional quality steaks! Wine list is small, cheap and well chosen! Take the drive out there, u will never regret it!

Wow. Without question, the best steak I’ve ever had in my life. Had the filet mignon with bearnaise sauce and roasted vegetables. Began the meal with a cauliflower and blue cheese soup which was also delicious. Cocktail was vodka martinis which were smooth and added to the overall enjoyment. Wonderful, quaint atmosphere and equally wonderful and welcoming staff. This place is a hidden treasure. Well worth the drive from Calgary. Completely recommended.

Was invited to eat here for my birthday while visiting family in Alberta.  I had heard that it was an excellent dining establishment and was very pleased to experience exactly that!  The restaurant is small compared to many other places but that is part of the overall appeal of it.  You overlook the rolling hills of the area while you are treated to exceptional service and delicious food.  The ribeye steak that I had was, literally, the best piece of beef that I have ever eaten!  My family shared the chateaubriand steak as well as the grilled halibut.  The staff were attentive, happy and enjoyed bantering back and forth with us. Nobody walked away from here anything but totally satisfied.

This place is amazing. Perfect balance of professionally cooked meal with friendly kind service. Love it, been here like 4 times now. The chateaubriand is obviously the best thing to order but there chicken is great too. Never had the seafood.
