Gyro Uno - Long Island City

For a corner eatery with a Greek-Spanish name, Gyro Uno serves up a good slice of pizza. My veggie slice was fresh, savory, tasty, with a tender crust crispy on the bottom and slightly thicker than a traditional NYC slice. The crust bones (edge) is more of the crackery variety, instead of bready. A clean, good Astoria pizzeria Italian Greek food place with plenty of seating.

The best gyro sandwich I've ever had! I also really enjoy the pork souvlaki. My friend loved the chicken souvlaki and the Greek salad. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable.

This is a fantastic spot for a large farewell gathering! The lamb gyros are truly authentic, and they offer good slices and various pizza options as well. Their burgers and chicken dishes are pretty good too. The service is quick, the prices are reasonable, and the tables are kept clean.
