This is the ideal spot for a sandwich and coffee during lunch. Their sandwiches are delicious, especially the rock steak sandwich, which is cooked to perfection! The $12 brunch special for bellinis and mimosas is a fantastic bonus!

Breadbox Cafe is situated in a somewhat remote area of Long Island City, but that's actually a plus because it offers its own parking and plenty of outdoor seating. It's an ideal spot for brunch and very family-friendly. We visited with another couple and found it easy to park two children's cars without any hassle. The menu features a variety of tasty brunch options, as well as sandwiches and burgers. I tried the shakshuka, which consists of poached eggs in a spicy tomato sauce, served with delicious grains and pita bread. It was excellent, and the portion was quite generous. My partner ordered the "smiley," which was also fantastic, and we definitely recommend trying the lox! We'll surely be returning for more meals in the future.
