Blend - Long Island City

What an experience. This location is very beautiful and has so much space for large groups. I really enjoyed my steak brunch entree. They have a special dessert for birthdays with a fun sparkler on it. The menu hits you with so many offers and specials, definitely take the time to review it if you're budget conscious. Word of warning, there is a photographer who will ask if you want photos without first sharing the cost. They're kind of steep so just be sure to deny them if that's not what you're looking for.

Ever since my friend suggested bruncr here, I can 't think of the name of this place without hearing Smoke on the Water and that famous guitar riff--just sub Blend for Smoke . Da da DA, da da DA DA.....#IYKYK Anyway, the food here was hearty and tasty, and the vibe was waterside pretty--perfect for a Sunday afternoon. My Churrasco was perfectly cooked, with a great chimichurri sauce. The Mofongo con Camarones Al Ajillo was equally large and flavorful. And you can 't beat their brunch drink specials. A Blend Sunset Martini will set you back just $9, and a Peach Bellini is even cheaper at $7. Someone forgot to tell these guys there 's a shrinkflation happening, but I won 't say a word...

This beautiful restaurant and bar has cool, fresh vibes the moment you step inside. It is located by the water in Long Island City with spectacular views of the NYC skyline. Immediately, my youngest sister and I knew this was the perfect place to have a Bridal Shower for our lovely sis! We took our mom here for her birthday celebration in October and also to try their dinner menu. The ambiance and the gorgeous floral decor made us feel special. The atmosphere was chill and the Latin fusion cuisine was delicious! Overall my sister, friends, and family had an amazing time. It was great to see her eyes filled with love and awe. The staff are very accomodating and the manager helped us plan the perfect Bridal Shower. My favorite part was when they brought out the dessert tray with candles to surprise my sis! Everyone enjoyed themselves and the food! I would definitely recommend this place for memorable celebrations!

I've been to dinner here many times over the years and a few things have changed. They no longer have a valet, so be prepared to pay for the parking garage that's a few blocks away or spend your time looking for parking that you most likely will never find. I feel like they used to enforce a pretty decent dress code here but lately it doesn't seem to be enforced. The service felt almost rushed with no time in between courses. The quality of food has remained pretty much, the same, always flavorful with good portions. However, I recently tried the seafood rice dish, and there was barely any rice, so really just vegetables and some seafood. Beautiful decor, though, with an amazing view of the city.

I cannot count the amount of times I've been to this location. The ambiance, energy, service, and food has always been top notch for me! This has to be my favorite locations out of all of them. So far I have been a witness to 3 proposals at this locations. So just an fyi, this location falls more on the dressier side. My go to drink is always a Sangrita. Although this time they didn't do the swirl design. (IYKYK) I decided to get my go to dish, pollo alla plancha. Maybe it's just me but I feel like the rice was a smaller portion. The chicken tasted good but I wish they included a bit more sauce. It felt dry at times. My date ended up getting the churrasco and it was so good! I also got my date to try out the chorizo Mac and cheese for the 1st time. As you can see from the video, he was very impressed with the cheese pull and savored every bite. Overall experience was great. They had a professional photographer walking around the room that asked if you wanted photos and she charges, I think $15 each photo she prints out (don't quote me). We took a picture to capture a memory and it came out so cute! Such a great way to wrap up our dinner. I think next time I'll switch my entree choice or ask for extra sauce. I will be definitely be returning back!
