Nonnas Pizza - Londonderry

"This restaurant is definitely worth a visit, and we will return. The ambiance is pleasant, though a bit narrow and crowded at times. From the moment we arrived, the service was fantastic. Due to government guidelines, we had a limited time at our table, but the staff kept us informed. We explored the menu and discovered several vegan options. The staff member we spoke with was very helpful, suggesting various combinations and substitutions for different menu items to suit our vegan diet. We ended up ordering the Olive Verdi Piccanti Bruschetta, Verdure Pizza, and a Mint Ice Latte Mocktail (although there wasn’t a specific mocktail option, the staff was friendly enough to prepare it for us). Out of these five dishes, I particularly enjoyed the Bruschetta and the Pizza. On the plus side, the ambiance is nice, the service is excellent, and they use different cutlery for vegan items, which I appreciated. The food was absolutely delicious. However, I did notice two minor downsides: they don’t offer Tabasco sauce, and they don’t provide chili flakes or mixed herbs/oregano on the tables. When I asked for herbs, they brought them to me in small bowls, which was a nice touch. I would love to see them expand their vegan options even further. We ordered the spicy green olive bruschetta, vegetable pizza, and a mint iced latte mocktail (they didn’t have a mocktail option on the menu, but the staff were kind enough to prepare one for us). I appreciated that the cutlery (for the pizza and butter) was different for vegan items, and the food was delicious. There were a couple of downsides, though: they don’t offer Tabasco sauce and they didn’t provide chili flakes or mixed oregano at the table (I asked for the chili flakes, and they brought them to me in small dishes, which I appreciated). The pizza with cheese is delicious, and it has a wonderful appearance. Plus, the menu clearly labels the vegan options.
