Bidrage med feedbackLocated in Covent Garden Market, Tanakaya Japanese Restaurant is a charming and cozy spot that left me thoroughly impressed. As a vegetarian, I was thrilled to discover their delicious option for me - the miso ramen with dumplings was simply fantastic! The lady serving us was incredibly accommodating and displayed the utmost courtesy throughout our meal. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful dining experience, making our visit all the more memorable. I also tried their boba tea to complement my meal, and it did not disappoint! The blend of flavors was perfect and added a refreshing touch to my lunch. The owners of Tanakaya clearly take pride in their restaurant, as evidenced by the exceptional quality of both the food and service. If you find yourself in Covent Garden Market and craving a delightful Japanese dining experience, Tanakaya is the place to go!
I ordered delivery from this restaurant and the packaging was excellent. They even included a ramen spoon, which I thought was a nice touch. The pork bone broth I ordered was delivered piping hot, so I didn't need to reheat it. I also ordered a dream roll on the side, which was fresh and delicious. The egg in the ramen was cooked perfectly. I highly recommend Update. I also tried their beef hot pot, which was loaded with beef and veggies and was super yummy.
A small Japanese restaurant inside the Covent Garden Market in downtown London. The restaurant's capacity is low but it offers a wide selection Japanese goodies including, ramen, tempura, bento box, fried rice, gyoza, katsu. These dishes are served with a variety of meats and seafood.
The tables were properly distanced and it was good to eat in! Enjoyed the spicy yakisoba and a Bento box! The tapioca in the bubble tea wasn't the greatest but the FOOD! Adding the $1 to make my yakisoba spicy is so good, I loved it!!
Straightforward Bento with lightly battered Katsu chicken. The pork broth ramen was very light in flavour, but that's what my husband wanted; he said BBQ pork had a good ratio of meat to fat and the egg was very flavourful like they infused soy sauce in it.
