Mama's Hot Italian Sandwiches - London

I come here once every other month to get my veal sandwich fix! Before Mama's in London I use to only get a veal sandwich in the GTA (California Sandwiches). Their sandwich is awesome. A large bun, a good amount of veal, enough sauce and...i would highly suggest getting the works (cheese, mushrooms, peppers onions). The price seems high but it's a big sandwich and won't leave you hungry.

Hadn't been there in awhile, Now I remember why, Had to be the worst Italian sandwich I've ever had. Meatball was so salty and the veal, didn't look or taste like any veal I've ever eaten. Won't be going back there again.

I hit up this place every couple of months for a sandwich or a salad. Generally get the meatball. It's a giant meatball cut into thick slices. Great taste and super messy. I'd recommend the extra cheesy works to top it off. Treat yourself to...some poutini fries with a meatball on top too.

Did not know this place existed. I missed the veal sandwiches I used to get in Toronto and had high hopes for this shop. Service was friendly. This is a small shop that has some seating but most people seem to carry out their food...items. Bun is big and veal was nice. I am used to piles of peppers from my days in Toronto. So, good but not fantastic. I will reserve my full opinion and try again.

SO FKN GOOD. I ordered the Alfredo penne dish and am totally blown away. Never had an honest, homemade sauce like this before: it was simple, thick and garlicky and I damn near ate through the takeout dish. I need a nap now. Also, bring...a toothbrush, Listerine and some gum for afterwards though
