Bidrage med feedbackFirst time visitor to wagamama and I had the Vegatsu curry and some veggie gyozas. Most of the dishes have a vegan version (and it isn't just removing the meat or fish! Which was great. This particular branch said they were understaffed when I went but the food still came out in about 15 minutes and the staff were super nice so I imagine it's even better under normal circumstances!
Part of a large chain but the food is really good with a separate vegan menu. We had the vegan chili squid (oyster mushrooms) and the sticky short ribs (mushroom and soya) to start followed by the no-duck donburi (seitan). Really tasty and freshly cooked. The place was busy so service a bit slow but worth the short wait.
Love Wagamama as the have the best vegan range and their entire menu is now 50% plant based. Also the drinks, including wines and beers are now labelled vegan! Had the #veganuary special Japanese twist on fish and chips which was the best I have had. Sweet potatoes in a spicy sauce, mushy edamame beans and amazing ‘fish’. Big portion too! #Veganuary
Ask for the plant based menu or order from the normal one, which now features plant based dishes prominently. Starters, mains and desserts as well as fresh juices.
I visited Wagamama in London and gave it a 3.5/5 rating. The restaurant is a mix of fast food and sit-down dining, with servers to take your order. The service was a bit slow and on the pricey side, but the interior and atmosphere were enjoyable. I had a difficult time choosing from their menu, but ended up trying the grilled duck donburi and pork belly buns, both of which were delicious.
