Toro Gordo - London

The second time I’ve been here and still as good! The octopus, the steak, the goats cheese salad…. Lovely ambiance and excellent service. It’s a gem in Hammersmith!

We had an amazing dinner at Toro Gordo recently. We stumbled upon it whilst we were staying in Hammersmith and had the best food. The service was excellent as well our waitress was lovely. When we're next in Hammersmith we'll definitely be back!!

The food was ok. The service was a bit questionable.

The pretty young lady always had a big smile for us whilst serving us attentively. The dishes were well cooked (the octopus is to die for) and the wine good and decently priced. I think this is a local gem and we would definitely return the next time we are in the area. Definitely the best place for pre concert/theatre dinner if going to Hammersmith Apollo.

The waiter was not attentive at all. Got involved in a conversation with a couple and didn’t even look around. One table were trying to pay we were waiting for a glass of wine to arrive. The best dish was the aubergine with honey. The clamares was great too. The dish needing immediate improvement was the tortilla, extremely dry and over cooked. The bread with tomatoes should be a bigger portion too. We will be back soon to give them another chance.
