The Victoria Inn - London

We decided to go to the Victoria Inn for a date night and had a very enjoyable time. There was an excellent selection of starters and main courses starters were particularly inventive and our chosen dishes were delicious. Its been a long time since I've had such a good risotto and although the mushrooms were truffled, the flavour was subtle rather than overpowering so full marks to the chef for that. Service was prompt but not over friendly.

Fab service and reasonable food and delivery time. Not bad taking a late booking also

Service staff seemed overwhelmed as we had to keep asking for the same things repeatedly, we waited a long time for our food, and our bill after we had asked for it.

Roast Sunday dinners are normally good, so much so that I recommend. Today let down a little. Beef we had was a bit gristly and was cooler than the other items on the plate. A little strange so hoping for better next time around.
